Mark Adamchak serves as Bionano’s Chief Accounting Officer. He joined the company as Controller in June 2018 and led the accounting organization through Bionano’s initial public offering. Since joining Bionano, he has taken on increasingly senior leadership roles, with responsibilities spanning accounting, financial reporting, treasury, investor relations, capital markets, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Before joining Bionano, Mark held accounting and finance leadership positions at Pathway Genomics, Intuit, and SAIC. At Pathway Genomics, his responsibilities included accounting for insurance reimbursements within a private life sciences company. At Intuit, he supported merger and acquisition integration activities and addressed software revenue recognition matters. During his tenure at SAIC, he supported M&A teams with financial due diligence, led accounting process and integration initiatives, and gained SEC reporting experience at a large accelerated filer. He began his career in public accounting with KPMG.

Mark is a licensed CPA and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from James Madison University.
